Christmas Spectacular at Radio City

Today the family drove to New York City to watch the Christmas Spectacular at the Radio City Music Hall. We all were so excited! Our family has never been nor have we’ve seen a Broadway show so this was a big event for us. We had a blast even though the weather was nasty. We have to thank Steph and Dave for sharing such a wonderful experience with us! Here are just a few photos but you can see the rest here.

Who is Ginger and Why is her House Made of Bread?

A few days ago our good friends Craig, JaNae, Jaycee, and Rylee had a fun weekend including making ginger bread houses. They weren’t alone because we did the same thing two weeks ago for family home evening. We had never made a house out of ginger bread before and Heather was smart enough to buy a kit. I don’t know how edible the thing is but it sure was a blast putting it together.

As always, Heather was in charge and oversaw the entire operation and I was the icing man. I made sure that everything stuck together. The kids did all of the decorating — jelly bean here, gum drop there, sprinkles everywhere!

We had such a good time with this I think we will make it a Christmas tradition for our family.
