Marissa’s Daddy Daughter Day
This past weekend was a busy one. Heather and Samantha were at church all day for the annual Relief Society craft day and Tristen had a service project with the boy scouts. That left Marissa and I with the day totally to ourselves. We had a great time too. We decided to go to the zoo but instead of taking our normal route, we thought it would be nice to start in the botanical gardens. It was a beautiful day and Marissa enjoyed reading the map and telling me where to go.
After the zoo we headed to the mall for lunch. If Marissa is allowed to choose where to eat she will almost always choose the Chinese restaurant at the food court. She had her vegetable lo-mein, teriyaki chicken, and all was well in the world. We spent the rest of the day at home playing and watching movies. It was a really good day.
